Macro Automated Photography (M.A.P.)
Petro Geo Consult’s proprietary Macro Automated Photography (M.A.P.) system elevates sample documentation to a new standard. We capture up to 50 high-resolution images per drill cutting sample under controlled lighting and magnification conditions, producing a permanent photographic archive that supports advanced mineralogical interpretation, petrographic analysis, and post-well geochemical studies. M.A.P. data integrates directly with our formation evaluation workflows, allowing geologists to cross-reference photographic evidence with gas shows and wireline log responses for a fully documented, auditable subsurface record.
