Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, Petro Geo Consult is a specialist geoscience consultancy dedicated to delivering precision subsurface intelligence to exploration and production operators across North America and beyond. Born from a recognition that E&P operators needed a trusted, technically rigorous partner for formation evaluation, geosteering, and wellsite geology, we have grown into a 40-person consultancy serving operators in twelve US basins — from the Permian and DJ basins to the Williston, Anadarko, and Appalachian plays.
Our founding mission remains unchanged: to provide geoscience expertise of the highest calibre, delivered by experienced professionals who understand both the technical demands of the subsurface and the operational realities of modern drilling programmes. We combine deep basin knowledge with real-time analytical capability to help operators maximise reservoir contact, reduce non-productive time, and make faster, better-informed decisions at every stage of the well lifecycle.
